CAT5/5e/6 Cabling
Our installers always use quality materials which conform to the latest industry standards to ensure the best performance is achieved.
Category 5 cable (Cat 5) is a twisted pair cable for computer networks, allowing you to connect your devices via Ethernet to the main network cabinet.
Beginning with a free site survey, our engineers gain a full understanding of your requirements and offer clear and honest advice through regular discussions during the initial planning phase.
Following on from these discussions we present a formal quotation with a detailed scope of works for your consideration.
Managed Wireless Network
Whilst most buildings now have some element of structured network cabling in place, our most recent cabling projects have involved upgrading an existing managed wireless infrastructure. This has come as a result of faster, more intelligent Access Points (APs) that provide better support to the ever growing mobile devices.
Most AP’s now support Power over Ethernet (PoE) which massively reduces the installation cost however, running a physical network cable is still essential to provide both power and data to the wireless access point.
Our team of engineers are able to conduct an accurate heat map of your building, prior to any work commencing to illustrate the expected coverage during the design phase.
Fibre Optic Installation
Ensure your extension areas are network correctly through the usage of fibre optic cabling.
To achieve the best performance possible between your core and edge routers, a fibre optic backbone to interconnect your servers, switches and extended infrastructure is an important consideration.
Not only can this medium achieve vastly improved data rates compared to that of copper, it won’t be negatively effected by cross talk or electrical interference.
Another huge benefit of fibre optic cabling is the distances that can be achieved which is why it’s often the preferred choice to use between office blocks and to link up extended out buildings.
